2011 Shuttle & Transportation Plan

Spectators can once again enjoy a FREE shuttle ride, to and from Legion Field, from 1 of 3 convenient locations on the day of the game. Whether you are going straight to the game or attending the parade in the morning, the shuttle is the easiest way to get you to the game AND you don’t have to fight the game day traffic downtown. Shuttles will pick you up at the shuttle stop and take you directly to Legion Field.

After the game, return to the drop off point at Legion Field (located on the east side of the stadium) and buses will be staged and clearly marked, ready to take you back to your vehicle.

(1) BIRMINGHAM CROSSPLEX  (formerly AL STATE FAIRGROUNDS)

Looking to get to the game early? Not interested in attending the morning parade downtown? Then this is your best option for parking and shuttle transportation. Avoid all the downtown traffic!

(2) SHERATON HOTEL -BJCC COMPLEX

The Sheraton Hotel is once again the host hotel for this year’s State Farm Magic City Classic presented by Coca-Cola. Located near the start and finish of the parade route, it’s a convenient ride to the game.

This secondary downtown location is convenient to several of the downtown and Southside hotels. There are also several parking garages in the vacinity. The shuttle ride is quick and easy.
